BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
He was living with his grandparents, George and Mary Ford in 1910 according to the Federal Census. He is described as of medium build and height with black hair and dark eyes in the World I Draft Registration Card. After training in the army he departed on the ship Manchuria from Hoboken, NJ for service in Europe. After returning from the war, we find him once again at the home of his grandparents in Kennedyville, according to the Federal Census. His wife’s name was Clara, and according to the 1930 Federal Census they were living in the Ford household in Kennedyville. He worked both before and after the war as a farm laborer.
