Thank you for being a member of Sumner Hall and your interest in participating in our field trip to the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C. We have secured 55 tickets for a group tour on Saturday, February 17th. As a member of Sumner Hall, you are our top priority and we are offering these tickets to you before opening enrollment to the general public.
Sumner Hall will be reserving a bus to take the group from Chestertown and back. There is no charge for museum entrance; however, the cost of the bus is $25 per person. In order to participate, you must arrive with the rest of the group on the bus. Each member may reserve one or two tickets. To secure your reservation, please make your payment no later than February 1st. After February 1st we will extend this invitation to other community residents.
Due to such limited availability, these tickets will be awarded on a “first-paid / first-served” basis. You may confirm your reservation by cash or check, mailed or hand-delivered to Sumner Hall, 206 South Queen Street, Chestertown, MD 21620. Checks should be made payable to Sumner Hall.
